Banff’s premiere event planning company is seeking a personable and outgoing individual with great attention to detail to join our event management team. While not a theatre job, per se, the skills and experience required for this position is very much in line with with those of stage managers, production managers, or technical directors. Mountainscape is a full service event company based in Banff, Alberta. We specialize in corporate & social events including galas, receptions, holiday parties and weddings.
The Event Manager is responsible for the management all aspects related to on-site events, including but not limited to: pre-event planning, supervising installation and teardown of decor, directing crew, coordinating entertainers, post-event organization and maintenance of props and equipment.
The successful candidate will possess:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently, as well as part of a collaborative team.
• A valid drivers license with clean driver’s abstract.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Previous event and/or management experience preferred but not required.
Compensation: $16 – $20/hour commensurate with experience. Benefit package available.
