Fundraiser (St. Albert): IndieGoGo Campaign – 2014 Amplify Youth Festival

A brand new arts and culture festival driven by a passion for making life louder, brighter & bolder!

The Amplify Youth Festival is about making life louder, brighter and bolder. It’s about growing potential and expanding imagination. It’s opportunity, It’s excitement, And It’s coming to you this October!

Spearheaded by a committee of local high school students, Amplify will bring together a combination of concerts and workshops, driven by passion and inspiration, to create a one of a kind experience for students grade 7 to 21 years of age.

We need funding to make sure all our programming is a go! We’ve got the artists on board, we’ve got the schedule laid out… now all we need are the last pieces of funding and maybe a little something to kick us into gear for next years festival!

Campaign closes October 31st.

Theatre Alberta is excited to be hanging out at the Amplify Youth Festival at the Enjoy Centre, St. Albert, October 17th and 18th.

We’ll be offering festival goers an opportunity to ‘take up the Artstrek Shakespeare Gauntlet.’ Challengers will get to don a costume, receive a Shakespearean name, and complete a fun acting challenge.

We’ll be in the main hall of the festival on Friday, October 17th from 3:00 to 6:00PM and Saturday, October 18th from 11:00AM to 6:00PM. We encourage any youth (aged 13-21) in St. Albert and the greater Edmonton area to come and take up the Gauntlet—if thou darest!
