We are Grindstone Theatre, an Edmonton theatre company whose mandate is to develop the next generation of local actors and connect them with new audiences. We’ve come a long way in two years. We went from performing twice a month with a cast less than ten, to running weekly shows with a company of over twenty members. We’ve moved into corporate territory and have performed for organizations including HSBC and the Liberal Party of Canada. We also run monthly improv jams open to the public, facilitate monthly play readings, produce seasonal musical reviews and produce full length professional musical productions.
