“Blood, black bile, id, superego, sugar and spice. We’re all made of the same things and no-one is completely innocent.”

Sonder is a new work of theatre created and performed by Central Alberta emerging artists The ? Collective, under the direction of Jake Tkaczyk, a BFA Acting student at the University of Alberta. Sonder is the sudden realization that every random passer-by is living a life as vivid and complex as your own. The production explores related themes of connection, isolation, secrecy, and multiple viewpoints of shared encounters through narrative vignettes and movement, with an original musical score by Alex Boldt.
