Case Study is a new play by Edmonton playwright Josh Languedoc. It was first workshopped at the Citadel Theatre’s Young Playwrights Company and is now premiering at the 2014 Edmonton Fringe Festival.
2 scientists are commissioned to work on a government-funded research project. There’s just one problem…they are not told what this research project is nor who is funding it until they arrive. Funded by a mysterious “Team,” 2 entities that are shrouded in secrecy, the scientists are left in a dingy research laboratory and must study a subject that intrigues and scares them: “where does violence originate from: genes or the environment?”
