Vertigo_logoVertigo Theatre seeks an individual for the position of Production Apprentice. Reporting to the Production and Facility Manger, the Production Apprentice will be exposed to all the aspects it takes to produce a professional production. The experience will be highly varied and can include everything from participating in lighting hangs, acting as production driver/buyer, props building/sourcing, running crew, and wardrobe.

The successful candidate shall be a highly motivated individual who has a keen interest in developing their skills in theatrical production. This position would be well suited to a recent graduate of theatre school or someone with a technical or production background in community theatre.

Vertigo Theatre has entertained audiences for over 30 years with high quality programming, evolving into a truly unique organization. We are located at the base of the Calgary Tower, which is home to our administration, ticket offices and our two performance venues. We program two series: The BD&P Mystery Theatre Series and the
Y Stage Theatre Series (for young audiences). Vertigo Theatre is also home to a variety of arts organizations that rent our performance venues throughout the regular theatre season. Our audience is diverse and includes children and young families to urban professionals and seniors.
