Catriona: This year will be my fourth year attending Artstrek (YES!!) I have gone to You Can’t Take it With You, Romeo and Juliet, and finally Fiddler on the Roof and soon Unity (1918). I want people to know that I was one so shy that I would never let a stranger even shake my hand let alone hug me, now I will basically hug anyone. I literally get bribed with hugs now.

I remember my first year of Artstrek and at the time I was shy and terrified. The first person I met is now my best friend. I have never been so close to someone at my school. Artstrek gives you this bond with everyone and you all have a sense of understanding and even though we can barely know everyone you all are friends and will be there when you need a friend. It’s given me the confidence to let people in more. I have the confidence to go to go into school and be me. 

I love how I have met so many amazing people. I still talk to people I haven’t seen since the first year! Its amazing how close of friends we make all in one week.
