Volunteer Opportunity (Calgary): Board Member – Theatre BSMT

CALL FOR BOARD MEMBERS

Theatre BSMT, an Alberta registered non-profit society, is currently seeking candidates for our Board of Directors, the group of volunteers that govern our society. We are looking for individuals from a diverse range of backgrounds and experiences who are interested in helping us fulfill our vision of supporting and promoting emerging theatre artists.

We are looking for candidates who have experience or expertise in the following skill sets:

– Financial Management/Planning
– Legal
– Governance
– Human Resources
– Graphic Design
– Marketing

Interested applicants should email our Artistic Director, Amy Dettling, a resume and a cover letter stating why they think they would be an asset to the Board.

DEADLINE TO APPLY IS: AUGUST 1, 2014

Previous board experience is an asset but not required. Theatre BSMT would like to thank all those who apply. Only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
