This year it’s bigger than ever!

It’s that time of year again. The Dr. Dasha Goody Memorial Foundation is proud to announce the 2014 scholarships with $10,000 in available funding with two categories! The DDGMF is giving aspiring young musical theatre stars ages 15 and up throughout Alberta two different opportunities to take the stage.
  
Since the scholarship’s inception in 2007, the Foundation has awarded over $30,000 in funding to musical theatre students and we are proud to announce 2014’s categories and criteria.
  
Community Scholarship
Educational Scholarship
  
Eligibility:
Ages 15 and up
Resident of Alberta
No formal training necessary
Funding provided for: costs associated with advancing musical theatre skills such as classes, workshops, private lessons and costs of materials & equipment for training

Eligibility:
Ages 17 and up
Resident of Alberta
Some form of previous musical theatre training
Funding provided for: tuition costs to a post-secondary institution or specific program, costs to train in a place other than the city they reside and costs of materials & equipment for training
  
Award: up to $1,500
Award: up to $5,000

We are proud to provide project-specific funding assistance to Alberta vocal performing arts students. Previous winners have put the funding towards tuition, private classes, workshops and more.
