The second annual Thousand Faces Festival will take place May 16 – 24, 2014 at the Alberta Avenue Community Centre (9210 118 Ave). Performances in the 2014 festival will include theatre, dance, stilt walking, storytelling, poetry, improvisation and visual art from English, Greek, African, North American Aboriginal, and Indian mythic and cultural traditions.
The festival is looking for volunteers for the Box Office, Beer Gardens, and Flyer Distribution
Box Office – Hang out 30 minutes before the show & 15 minutes after, encourage donations & see a show of your choice in the festival!
Beer Gardens – Come practice the elusive art of pouring the perfect beer!
Flyer Drop Off – Take your dog for a walk and drop off flyers in surrounding neighborhoods!
This is a great and easy way to support a budding theatre festival, see some shows and meet some like-minded people. PLUS you’ll get free drinks and free entrance to the Closing Night Party with the staff, artists and volunteers!
