The Calgary Herald has reported Tom McCabe is leaving Theatre Calgary in September. The longtime president, who was instrumental in helping pull the company out of serious financial difficulties in the late 1990’s, made the announcement Thursday, April 10th.
McCabe joined the board of Theatre Calgary in 1992, and took over as president in 1997, when the company had a $2 million deficit and was in danger of going bankrupt.
