Odd-Lot-Workshop-header Build your very own foam and fleece puppet character with The Odd-Lot Puppetry Co!
This two day course will give you an introduction to the fundamentals of building foam hand and rod puppets, the style best known and popularized by The Muppets™ and Sesame Street™.
Using an Odd-Lot original pattern, participants will build their very own durable puppet character and learn a variety of cutting, gluing and sewing techniques to help give your puppets a sharp, professional look.

All skill levels welcome. Ages 16 and up.

Monday Night Class:
Two nights, April 21st 2014 and April 28th 2014, 6:30 Pm- 9:00 Pm

Saturday Day-time Class:
Two days, April 26th 2014 and May 3rd 2014, 12:30pm-3:00pm

Price: $140.00 (includes materials)

About the Instructors:

Brendan James Boyd has been working professionally as a puppeteer, puppet builder and prop artist in both theatre and film for over seven years. Founder of The Odd-Lot Puppetry Co, Brendan has written and directed over twelve original puppet productions to date and taught students of all ages across Western Canada. This coming fall, Brendan and Odd-Lot co-founder Tyler Collins will be launching their first three-show season, the first ever puppet-only theatre season in Alberta.
