Singing may be required for all roles; playing a musical instrument is an asset. Character descriptions in quotes are taken from the script. Except where noted, an English accent is required.

Character Breakdown:

Pauline Clench (25-30): “wide-eyed innocent; not bright but perky”.
Harry Dangle (60s): A “crooked solicitor with posh pretentions”.
Alan (30s): “a self-important actor”.
Dolly (30s): “smart-mouthed; sexually charged”.
Lloyd Boateng (50s): black male with a Jamaican accent.
Rachel Crabbe (mid-20s): spends most of the show disguised as a man.
Stanley Stubbers: (mid-20s) “tall, handsome, not bright”
Alfie: (25-40) physical comedian with gymnastic skills.

AUDITION DATES:

Edmonton in late March
Deadline to submit Mar 15, 2014.
