Update:

Calgary Arts Development presented the publication to The City of Calgary’s Standing Policy Committee on Community and Protective Services on March 5, 2014. The committee heard from Living a Creative Life signatories including Calgary Economic Development, International Avenue BRZ, Theatre Calgary and YMCA Calgary, and praised the collaborative nature of the strategy. Calgary Arts Development will present its four-year business plan and budget request, aligned with Living a Creative Life, to The City of Calgary later in 2014. Click here to read more about the presentation.

LCLWordmark_SmallLiving a Creative Life: An Arts Development Strategy for Calgary launched last month at LivingCreative.ca.  This is a city-wide strategy for the next ten years that aims to align the work of many organizations from across sectors to achieve shared goals that will make Calgary a better city through the arts.

For an overview of the strategy, please visit LivingCreative.ca and read the About and Strategy Summary pages.  If you believe in the overall vision and mission of Living a Creative Lifeplease show your support by becoming an endorser

On March 5, CADA will make a presentation of the final strategy to members of City Council and would like to show that a broad range of Calgarians endorse the strategy. The more Calgarians who support this strategy, the stronger our message will be to City Council, so please endorse the strategy today by clicking here.

If you would like to be more involved in the success of this strategy going forward, please contact Christine Armstrong at Calgary Arts Development to learn more.
