Seeking actors for Fringe Production, Indoor Stage: TOBIT

An Adaptation of the Book of Tobit, this story is set during the Babylonian captivity, 580 B.C. Tobit is an honest and charitable Israelite, who seeks the good of his neighbour, often at great personal cost. He has become blind, and is now unable to support his wife and son. He has one idea left, and sends their only son Tobias on a journey, much to the chagrin of his wife Anna.
ACTORS NEEDED:
NEW: Sarah is Raguel’s daughter, aged 17-25. Demanding role, one song.
Tobit is a bearded older man, aged 58 and then 66. This role is demanding, requiring a large emotional range and many lines. This actor needs to sing one song.
Tobias, his son, is a bearded younger man, aged 17-24. Several lines and one song.
Anna is Tobit’s wife, aged 55+. Demanding role, possibly one song.
Raguel is a bearded man, aged 55+. Demanding role, two songs and some dancing.
Azarius is a bearded man, aged 24-34.
AUDITIONS will be held on Friday, January 31, and February 1, 2014.
