This play is called Tobit and Tobias, and is an adaptation of the Book of Tobit (from the Old Testament). There is a wikipedia summary of Tobit here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Book_of_Tobit ;
JewishEncyclopedia.com calls it “among the most delightful of short stories.” Rembrandt used it as the subject for some of his paintings, such as this one.
If you have a resume, I’d be happy to see it, but experience is not a necessity. There is no singing or dancing in this play, but all actors other than Edna, Azariah and the Servants must be able to convincingly display a range of emotions. I would be very pleased to find a real husband & wife team as Tobit & Anna and as Raguel & Edna but this is not necessary. All characters other than Azariah and the servants need to be caucasian.
The one ‘qualification’ that is most important to me is that you are dependable and reliable — i.e., that you show up for all rehearsals and performances. I am anticipating rehearsals once or twice per week from May 1 – August 14, but adjustments may be made, depending on your schedules and depending on how we progress through the material.

1. Tobias, aged 14 – late 20s, preferably bearded
2. Tobit, bearded older male, aged 39 – 79
3. Anna, wife of Tobit, aged 39-79
4. Raguel, bearded older male, aged 39 – 79
5. Edna, wife of Raguel, aged 39 -79
6. Sarah, daughter of Raguel and Edna, aged 13 – mid 20s
7. Azariah, tall male, aged late teens – age 39, who is in fact Angel Raphael
8 & 9. Servants/Neighbors (need 2), female, aged early 20s to 49.
10. Tobias, aged 10
11. Tobias’ son, aged newborn to aged 4
