Call for applications

Lieutenant Governor of Alberta Emerging Artist Awards 2014 is the year of the Emerging Artist for the Lieutenant Governor of Alberta Arts Awards. Eligible candidates are artists of any age who have finished their training or apprenticeship and are in the early years of launching a professional career.

Performing artists, visual artists, writers, composers, and more are eligible. Applicants are assessed by an independent adjudication panel in a process managed by the awards secretariat, The Banff Centre. Awards consist of a medal and $10,000 and are presented by the Lieutenant Governor of Alberta in a private ceremony at Government House in Edmonton.
