Auditions: Tony & Tina’s Wedding

At the Wedding Pavillion (Calgary, Alberta)
51 North Productions is looking for a male actor between the of ages 22 – 38 to fill a major role in the upcoming production of Tony & Tina’s Wedding.
At Tony n’ Tina’s Wedding, audience members play the roles of Tony n’ Tina’s family and friends. The universal familiarity with the union of two individuals from 2 distinct families, regardless as to where they are from, takes the audience back and forth between fantasy and reality throughout the entire evening.
Cast members, playing the roles of the wedding party, family and friends, are situated throughout the “reception” and will be required to improvise. With this warm, hilarious improvisation, Tony & Tina’s Wedding has become the longest running Off-Broadway production in history.
We are seeking men between the ages of 22-38. Improvisational skills and acting experience are helpful. Auditions will include an interview as well as a prepared monologue. Auditions are scheduled for Tuesday, November 12 & Wednesday, November 13. Audition time and required monologue will be determined via e-mail.
Actors must be available for rehearsals and all performances.
