Evenings 7:30PM | Matinees 1PM

Routes follows fifteen-year-old Tom as he rides bus #65 in his home community of Millwoods in Edmonton. Struggling with problems at home and bullying at school, he has become an expert at being invisible. During this sixty-minute production, watch Tom draw connections between the neighbourhood, his family, his school and the recent tragedy of murder on his bus route. This play highlights the normalcy of violence in some communities, and how sometimes, it only takes one person standing up for change to make a difference.

Due to the nature of this production, New West Theatre is pleased to offer a post-show Question and Answer session immediately following each performance! All Q&A sessions are free, so please stay after the production to participate in a lively conversation about Routes.

New for 2013/14! Teachers and Educators, New West Theatre will be having student-only matinees for Routes. Call 403-381-9378 for more details about
student-only matinee dates and performance times.
