Volunteer (St. Albert): Usher and Front of House – Arden Theatre

The Arden Theatre in St. Albert is desperately trying to fill some volunteer usher and front of house shifts for this weekend and upcoming shows. They have an volunteer orientation on OCT. 15th, but are looking to fill shifts immediately. If you can volunteer on short notice, please email Adam at amitchell@st-albert.net

St. Albert’s Arden Theatre is looking for volunteers. With a Theatre that is busy 10 months of the year we are always on the lookout for volunteers. Specifically we need people to be ushers, hospitality and merchandise volunteers for the various events we host.

Typical roles/duties include:

  • Our house managers and ushers greet our patrons, take tickets and ensure that events run smoothly.
  • Our hospitality committee is responsible for creating a relaxing retreat backstage for our artists and ensuring they receive star treatment during their stay.
  • Merchandise volunteers sell a variety of items on behalf of our professional series artists.

We have plenty of volunteer opportunities both during the day and in the evening and because of the volume of our activities do not require more than one volunteer shift a month – but of course we would encourage you to volunteer as much as your free time allows.

Here is a link to our events calendar: http://www.ardentheatre.com/calendar.php

On October 15, we are having an orientation where you can hear all about The Arden, take a tour of the facility, hear about upcoming shows and find out about the volunteer perks.

There are 3 ways you can apply to become a volunteer. Email (scraft@st-albert.net) or drop off (to the Arden) this PDF or click on this link: http://www.ardentheatre.com/volunteer_reg.php to apply online.
