Third Street Theatre will be hosting general auditions the afternoon/evening of September 29th, 2013. We are seeking allied, queer, and queer-minded performers for our exciting 2013-2014 Season. All applicants must be 18 years or older. 

We are looking to cast approximately 12 performers for the following shows/performances: 

Club Carousel: A Cabaret Celebration of Calgary’s Gay History (A Co-presentation with the Calgary Gay History Project and One Yellow Rabbit’s High Performance Rodeo)

Performance Date: Jan 30, 2014

Late: A Cowboy Song by Sarah Ruhl

Performance Dates: March 12 – 22, 2013

The Passion of Sergius and Bacchus by the Queer Theatre Creation Ensemble.

Performance Dates: April 22 – May 3, 2013

GENERAL AUDITION DETAILS 

When: Sunday, September 29th, 2014, 2:00pm-10:00pm.

Where: Audition location will be provided to successful applicants.

In Attendance: Paul Welch, Jonathan Brower, and Alyssa Bradac.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Please submit digital headshots, resumes, and all requests for auditions to Paul Welch, Artistic Director of Third Street Theatre, at: paul@thirdstreet.ca

Successful candidates are asked to prepare two contrasting monologues of no more than 2 minutes each, and be prepared for a brief interview. Advanced familiarity with Third Street Theatre and our 2013-14 season is highly encouraged.
