Desire: I am currently 20 years old, I have been doing theatre since i was 12 years old. Acting was something I aspired to do but then I found my passion in Theatre Production. I had only attended Artstrek once, based on finances and scheduling of my personal life; but it made me sure that this is what I wanted to do.

I am currently finishing a Theatre Production Program at Grant MacEwan University, I am also fortunate enough to be doing an apprenticeship with the Edmonton Opera as a Stage Manager. I plan on attending Banff Arts Centre in the fall to pursue Stage Management by doing their program they have to offer. After that I’ll go where theatre allows me to do what I love!

Just like any new experience in life, you are unsure about everything relating to that experience. I took a deep breathe, looked around and seen the biggest personalities all combined and compiled into one room. We then all created a group huddle with strangers and learn t a quick little chant and song, broke apart to our supers and created a team cheer. In that moment I felt more alive and felt the largest sense of belonging I had ever felt up to that point in my life. It was such a beautiful moment. This experience of Artstrek made me come out of my shell and I had met some of my best friends I currently still have 5 years later! After my exploration I came to the realization this is what I want to do with my life. I need to be in theatre, this is my niche; this is home.
