This is an unpaid film. Actors will be very well fed, and provided with material to use in their reels. This film will go to festivals. Both union and non-union actors accepted.
Stalked by manifestations of creative days-past, Reggie, a once avid writer, finds herself at the mercy of three long-abandoned characters. A box of manuscripts marks six years of not a creative word written, and each character has some input into Reggie’s process… whether she likes it or not.
CASTING FOR:
TEDDY: male or female, early to mid twenties. One of Reggie’s only friends, a long-time one at that. He/she is the calm to Reggie’s sharp-witted storm. Although he/she can sometimes be perceived as lazy, they are extremely loyal. Teddy is Reggie’s tether to reality in times where she is too lost in her own imagination.
NATHAN: male, late 40’s to early 50’s, Reggie’s father. Having worked a cubicle job most of his life, Nathan finds pleasure in the little things in life, having to work for his family.
NJORD: male, mid 40’s to late 50’s, one of Reggie’s characters. A battle-worn pirate steeped in wisdom. He bears a strict passion for the sea, and is determined to die there.
MYN: female, mid 20’s to early 30’s, one of Reggie’s characters. Equipped with a warbling voice, matted hair, and an invisible entity living in her coat pocket, Myn is a strange will-o-the-wisp of a person gliding through the world.
