Memoria Viva Society of Edmonton Presents A New Musical: Voy Soñando, Voy Caminando

Although the production is in Spanish, we are looking for someone who loves the spanish culture and is willing to work with an assistant stage manager that is fluent in Spanish.
The musical is about Emilio, the son of a fisherman who breaks the family tradition of becoming a fisherman and enrolls in University in Santiago months before the September 11, 1973 military coup. In his discovery of his own identity he becomes involved in the student movement that supports the existing government of President Salvador Allende Gossens.
When the military coup transpires he is caught in the middle of the chaos and phases the difficult decision to leave the country, and people he loves, or continue to face political persecution and eventually face death.
Rehearsals begin June 25, 2013 and will be Tuesdays evenings and Saturday during the day, although more rehearsals may be added closer to the opening of the show.
