ONE DAY – ON CAMERA
AUDITION WORKSHOP

Casting Director, C.S.A., C.D.C.

 A ONE day workshop in which we will explore the whole audition process from the moment you get your sides to leaving the audition room.

Workshop Objectives

  • To understand how to adequately prepare sides and create the physical reality of the scene.
  • What works. What doesn’t work.
  • Performing prepared and cold reads.
  • How to win that Call Back and what to do once you have it.
  • Owning your audition – Panic free.
  • Letting go of what you can’t control.
  • Audition etiquette.

When:           Sunday, June 23, 2013 – 10:00am – 5:30pm

Cost:             $175.00 – DVD is included              

Location:       Evergreen Community Studios
                      2633 Hochwald Ave. SW, Calgary, Alberta
                      Parking is free

Instructor Bio
Rhonda is a three time Emmy and two time Gemini nominated Casting Director who has been involved in casting for over 15 years. Rhonda has cast projects in Calgary, Edmonton & Vancouver.  Some of her credits include “Fubar 2”, “Passchendaele”, “Heartland Seasons 1- 7” (CBC series), “Blackstone Seasons I-3 (APTN series) “The 19th Wife”,  “Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee”, “Resurrecting the Champ”, “Klondike” and “Cut Bank”.

*This workshop is designed for novice to intermediate actors. Please submit your photo/resume when registering*

** Class size is limited to 12 participants**
