Downstage will be auditioning actors on May 13, 2013 for our production of A Bomb in the Heart. To apply for an audition, please contact Artistic Producer Ellen Close at ellen@downstage.ca with your headshot, resume, and a brief statement regarding your
interest in auditioning. Please be sure to indicate any scheduling conflicts you have on the audition date. Expressions of interest should be received no later than May 6, 2013.
Reading scripts are available at the Downstage office and can be signed out for a period of 24 hours. Please contact us in advance by email (ellen@downstage.ca) or by phone (403.294.7459) to arrange a time to pick up a script. We thank all applicants for their interest and will notify you either way regarding our ability to grant you an audition.

Auditions will consist of a prepared monologue from the play.
Downstage engages members of the Canadian Actors Equity Association under
agreements like the Independent Theatre Agreement or the Indie 2.0.
Note that we will not be conducting general auditions this season but are happy to
receive headshots and resumes to put on file for future opportunities.
