Searching for Normal the Musical will be debuting at The Edmonton International Fringe Theatre Festival August 15-25, 2013. Deadline to submit: April 23rd.
Searching for Normal:
A young girl with a debilitating disease fights to stay alive and find her definition of normal. She achieves her life milestones with her mom, her best friend, by her side. Once she has achieved normal she begins her career when a nemesis she has been hiding from attacks. She must find a balance and learn to trust, believe and love once again.

Roles:
The following roles include singing, acting and dancing. The role of adult Alison will require the actor to use a wheelchair. A wheelchair will be provided for production.
Pre-teen Alison ages 8-13
Adult Alison ages 18-29
Vi ages 28-65
Dr ages 28-40
College student ages 18-24
Chorus Dancer:
Will be in two dance numbers.

Audition Material:
Please bring one monologue (no more than two minutes in length)
Once song (any genre)
Dance (no more than one minute)
Please bring your backup music on a cd.

Rehearsals:
Rehearsals will be for three hours either on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon; and actors are responsible for attending.
There will also be a Fringe venue rehearsal and the actors must attend.
