I think secretly, every young actress wants to play a part for which she gets to wear a sparkly costume. And not-so-secretly, she wants to play a powerful, flawed woman with a wicked sense of humour.
I did both as Kate Parr in Tudor Queens: A Burlesque. Between helping to develop the script, learning to dance, and enjoying the success that followed, I was blessed with a challenging, joyous, and satisfying experience I’ll cherish always.
