Playing Mommy was the role of a lifetime for me because it was the first role where I felt truly confident. Normally I would fret about forgetting my lines or my blocking, but I identified so much with the character of Mommy that it was easy to just “be”. Getting out of my head and learning to have fun with the character was the greatest, most freeing feeling in the world.
