My “Role of a Lifetime” didn’t happen in career or student life, instead it happened as a bright-eyed six-year-old sitting in the audience. The spotlight hit me and before I knew it, I was onstage. My part was a magic trick. A friendly performer tied a rope around my waist, said the magic word and the rope was transported through my body. The applause was thunderous! There was magic. I was part of that magic.
