AN EVENING WITH PLAYWRIGHT EMIL SHER

Emil Sher is a writer of a variety of genres, including stage plays for adults and children, screenplays, non-fiction and children’s fiction. Among his most produced plays are Bluenose, Beneath the Banyan Tree, Mourning Dove and Hana’s Suitcase, and he has written several episodes of the hit radio-drama Afghanada for CBC radio.

Presently, he is working on an adaptation of the book The Boy in the Moon by Ian Brown, and a play for children entitled Alia and the Book of Ashes.
