What does the Edmonton theatre industry have?
What is it in need of?
How can we work together to fill in the gaps?
The CANOE Theatre Festival proudly presents a discussion on resource sharing on Sunday, January 27th from 3:30-5:30pm at C103.

We are focusing on the topic of resources: What is available? What is our industry lacking? How can we better share our resources?
The Meet Up will be led by Brendan Neerey and Aaron Talbot:
- Brendan Nearey is an MA Drama candidate at the University of Alberta, an experienced theatre technician, production manager, theatre artist, producer and puppeteer. Brendan will lead a short activity, using inspiration from Robert Munsch’s Paper Bag Princess, with a focus on resources, creativity and perceived value.
- Aaron Talbot is a multi-disciplinary artist, theatre producer, trained audio describer (an initiative to help make theatre and live events accessible for blind and low-vision patrons) and the Communications and Marketing Coordinator of Theatre Alberta (https://www.theatrealberta.com). Aaron will facilitate an open discussion that will touch on available resources in our industry as well as what is missing.
