Girls Gone Wilde Call for Submissions: Actors, Directors and Stagemanagers
Urban Curvz Theatre is thrilled to present Girls Gone Wilde: A Late Night Cabaret!
There is a notable absence of female presence in current stories found in books, television, movies and theatre. Strong female characters and perspectives are the exception rather than the norm in the majority of stories consumed in popular culture. Urban Curvz seeks to counter this imbalance by providing a platform for female representation both in the stories produced and in the artists involved.
The Cabaret will consist of several 10 min pieces. We are currently accepting submissions from emerging and transitioning female actors, directors and stage managers.
SUBMISSION CRITERIA
Must be available for rehearsals (part time hours) during the month of April 2013 and the performance dates May 2-4, 2013.
