News (Calgary): Calgary Theatre Artist, Mark Hopkins, profiled in MacLean’s Magazine

Mark Hopkins, a Calgary-based theatre artist and co-artistic director of Swallow-A-Bicycle (http://www.swallowabicycle.com/), was recently profiled in MacLean’s magazine in an article that sheds light on his endeavours in to breaking down barriers faced by people from a variety of social and ethnic backgrounds. 

Mark was awarded a Queen’s Diamond Jubilee medal in honor of the vast contributions he has made to the Calgary arts scene, both in the theatre as well as through his latest social experiment, “We Should Get to Know Each Other” parties, which Mark hosts out of his own apartment in downtown Calgary.
