Synopsis:
A young woman escapes after seven years in captivity. A desperate journalist searches for a high-profile story. A reclusive stranger desires for something more. When a media frenzy turns the woman into an overnight celebrity, truth and fiction collide with dangerous consequences. A heart-stopping thriller, An Almost Perfect Thing examines society’s infatuation with the sensationalized stories provided by round-the-clock news coverage.
Chloe-18. She was kidnapped when she was 12 and after several years has suddenly re-emerged. Is reluctant to tell anyone who kidnapped her or how she escaped. She has a connection to the journalist who reported on her and is infatuated with society’s interest in her story.
New West Theatre is seeking a female actor to play the role of Chloe (must be able to play ages 12 through 18) for An Almost Perfect Thing.
Rehearsals run February 11 – 27, 2013
Performance dates are February 27-March 9, 2013
New West Theatre engages non-CAEA performers, as well as CAEA performers under the terms of the Guest Artist Policy.
