DANCE AUDITION
If you wish to be considered for any dance sections of the show, please sign up for a dance audition as well. Dance auditions will be in a group format and will be separate from the acting/singing audition. You will be asked to learn an original dance during the audition with a choreographer, so please wear character shoes, jazz shoes or appropriate dance footwear. Please ensure hair is tied back from your face.
PRODUCTION DATES
January 3-19, 2013
Evening shows ~ Wed-Sun ~ 7pm Saturday and Sunday matinees ~ 1pm
Venue: University Theatre on the University of Calgary campus
REHEARSAL SCHEDULE (subject to change)
Rehearsals will begin Sep 20th with a full read with lead characters.
Full Cast rehearsals will begin Sep 21st in room F202 and run until mid-December.
Leads: Thursday (18:00h-21:00h) and Friday (18:00h-21:00h)
Chorus: Friday (18:00h-21:00h) and occasional Thursdays
There will be a few weekend rehearsals with the orchestra – dates are TBA.
Rehearsals will resume in early-January (around January 2nd or 3rd).
A rehearsal schedule for the entire production will be emailed to you after the cast list is posted.
