KEEP SWEET is inspired by the story of the sect, Bountiful, in British Columbia run by Winston Blackmore, leader of Canada’s largest polygamist group, and his one thousand followers. Other inspiration drawn from the sects in Utah, New Mexico, Texas and Arizona.
Our story takes place in Abundance, Alberta, where two American teenagers have crossed the border to join Prophet Waylon’s sect. The American boy falls for the youngest of the Prophet’s daughters, who is coveted by the Prophet’s son. In a community where celestial marriages are determined by God’s revelations to the Prophet, will anyone get to be with the one they love? And at what cost?

KEEP SWEET: A Polygamy Musical
Fun for the whole family!
