Fringe (Edmonton): “Stories of Love and Hate” – Take a Bite Productions

From the twisted mind that brought you Take a Bite last summer, comes Stories of Love and Hate, a double-bill of love and violence!

In A Hate Story, Venus – now a burlesque dancer – and Cupid -an unhappy archery instructor – receive a visit from an old friend…St Valentine. The trio recall how the most saccharine of holidays came about…through war. And torture. And yes, TRUE love. Written by Heather Morrow, A Hate Story won Honourable mention for its director Maria Colonescu at the ADFA StageStruck One-Act Festival this year!

Then, A Love Story – Jeff’s death changed Isabelle and Chloe’s lives forever. But was it the cause of their issues, or did it just help bring them to light? Written by Maria Colonescu.

Directed by Maria Colonescu, starring Doug Verdin, Nicole Grainger, Justin Deveau and Heather Morrow, these two Stories of Love and Hate will be on at the 2012 Edmonton Fringe!
