PRAISE FOR:

Fools for Love…

“A treat of hilarity and whimsy. Jan Henderson and company have created a lesson in imagination with the stellar duo of Lesiak and Keefe. This is what good clowning is all about – virtuosic, full of heart, and funny.” – Adam Lazarus, Artistic Director, Toronto Festival of Clowns

“true humanity… many layers of sweet and humorous. A touching and very engaging show.” – Thomas Scott’s mom, Allanah Scott

Sofa So Good…

“The beauty of this play (and the non-stop laughs that accompany it) is this terrific intersection where simplicity of set and props meets light hearted and insanely creative ideas… you’re excited to watch it happen.” – 4 Stars, See Magazine, Edmonton

“I wouldn’t want to do without seeing the likes of Edmonton-based Small Matters Productions… endless creative and comedic possibilities… wicked, well-conceived comedy.” – 4 Stars, Uptown Magazine, Winnipeg

“… Rocket (Adam Keefe) and Sheshells (Christine Lesiak), may have redeemed clowns for an entire generation… an emotional, heart-warming and hilarious adventure…” – 4 Stars, The Star Phoenix, Saskatoon

“I hate clowns… I just don’t think clowns are funny or clever or in any way poignant. Or at least, I didn’t. Sofa So Good, in a single production, has turned my head upside down when it comes to clowns… I laughed a lot at this show. I laughed at the silliness and at the joyous physicality, but mostly I laughed at the truth of it all.” – 4 Stars, CBC Winnipeg

“these aren’t just your average clowns… silly, cute, naive … and yes, slightly naughty” – 4 Stars, The Edmonton Journal
