Seeking 8 men, 3 women ages 16+ for the musical Strike! (http://www.strikemusical.com)in the following roles:
(1) Mike Sokolowski (male approximately 30 – 45)
(2) Stefan Dudar (male approximately 18-25)
(3) Rebecca Almazoff (female approximately 18-25)
(4) Moishe Almazoff (male approximately 25-35)
(5) Senator Gideon Robertson (male approximately 35-50)
(6) O’Reilly (male approximately 25-35)
(7) Captain McDougall (male approximately 35-50)
(8) Susan Ashdown (female approximately 35-50)
(9) James Ashdown (male approximately 35-60)
(10) Emma (female approximately 16-25)
(11) Carmichael (male approximately 25-35)
Additional Information: Please prepare one song which best displays your ability. You may perform a cappella, with an accompanist (there is a piano in the rehearsal hall), or to a kareoke CD. (Note that, while the show’s musical director will be present, she will not act as accompanist in auditions.) After your song, you will be asked to read from sides appropriate to the role/roles for which you would be considered. These sides will be available via e-mail or in the lobby of the audition hall. Accents required for the musical are: Slavic/Eastern European, Irish, Scottish. There will be no dance component to the audition. Please bring your 8′”x10″ photograph (colour or BW) and two copies of your acting resume. Participants should be available from April 1st – April 28th, 2013.
