KEYANO THEATRE COMPANY in Fort McMurray, Alberta is embarking on an ambitious project entitled HOMETOWN THE MUSICAL. This collective creation about what it means to call a boomtown your hometown is in need of a dynamic and creative individual to serve as PROJECTIONS AND VIDEO DESIGNER (PVD).
Working with our crack creative and technical team the PVD will collect, corral, create and deliver all video and projection elements for the modern musical. We anticipate using multiple projectors, screens and video surfaces to deliver the show in a dynamic and interesting way.
The individual should be available to begin collaborating in late August or early September and be able to commit to a two-three week residency period ending on February 15th 2013 when the show opens. The right candidate will likely come to Fort McMurray in Early January for a 1 week residency and prelim planning period and then again Feb 1st or there about until February 15th 2013. A fee, accommodations while in transition and a travel allowance will be included in the agreement.
