AUDITIONS

Catalyst Theatre is holding auditions for our next production, premiering in the spring of 2013. The production will be musically, physically and textually demanding and as such we are looking for actors who are exceptional singers and very strong movers who are at ease with poetic text. This is also a new work that will continue to evolve during the rehearsal process. It requires actors who learn quickly, adapt well to change and enjoy the challenge of technical specificity. Actors must be available from 2 April 2013 through 12 May 2013 inclusive. If you are available and interested in the project, please send your resume and headshot to:

This is a very tight turnaround due to the limited availability of our creative team over the next two months. If you plan to submit, please do so in as timely a manner as possible so that we can review your material and contact you as soon as possible if we are interested in setting up an audition. Please do not contact the theatre. If you have questions about the audition itself these can be addressed in the event you are contacted to set up an audition time. If you have any questions about whether or not you should submit your resume for consideration, please submit your material and allow us to decide.

Auditions will consist of the following:
One ten-minute individual audition consisting of one monologue (two minutes) and one song (also two minutes)
One 40-minute group movement call (come dressed in clothing/footwear that you are comfortable moving in)
