Audition (Edmonton): “Interface” – Short Film

Looking for actors to audition for a short film in Edmonton. The 3-day shoot will take place in June and is on a voluntary basis. Meals, snacks, beverages, and a copy of the finished short will be provided.

“Interface” is a story about a husband who must face the consequences of sleeping with his android house-keeper.

Frederick – Lead – Male, 30-40 years old. A talented computer engineer trying to hold on to and revive his failing marriage. Although meticulous at his job, he doesn’t put much effort into fixing the problems in his personal life.

Christina – Lead – Female, 30-35 years old. Bored, depressed, and heavily medicated. Christina struggles with her new (and unwanted) role of stay at home wife and finds her days harder to get through after the addition of AN.

AN – Lead – Female, 18-25 years old. Perfection in the world of consumer level artificial beings. Originally purchased by Frederick to aide Christina with the housework, AN slowly pulls the couple further apart.

Please send a headshot and resume to InterfaceCasting@gmail.com. (Audition date is TBA.)
