Theatre Alberta’s Keri Mitchell makes a Pecha Kucha

On February 24, Theatre Alberta Executive Director Keri Mitchell (née Ekberg) made a Pecha Kucha-style presentation on the Alberta Arts Sector during the opening ceremonies of the 2012 Alberta Culture Forum in Red Deer.

We’ve posted video of Keri’s speech on YouTube.

Unfortunately you can’t see her Pecha Kucha slides in this version, so Keri built a video of her slideshow presentation for your exclusive viewing pleasure here:

You can watch the whole of the Alberta Culture Forum Opening Ceremonies online. Edmonton playwright Marty Chan was emcee with both Premier Alison Redford and Heather Klimchuk, Minister of Culture and Community Services, spoke about their vision of Alberta Culture. The performances throughout the evening were spectacular!

The Government of Alberta is also asking the broader public for its help in charting a course for our province’s cultural future. They have posted an online survey which is available until March 28. Theatre Alberta strongly encourage everyone to make their voices heard! Maybe you agree or disagree with the ideas put forward by forum delegates? LET THEM KNOW!
