Edmonton’s Citadel Theatre announces its 2012/2013 SEASON

“In addition to world-class live theatre, this season we invite you to go BEYOND THE STAGE,” said Citadel Theatre Artistic Director Bob Baker. “Cabaret series, conversations and Q&A’s, jam sessions with actors and musicians from our musicals, film screenings, play readings, master classes… all in our Rice and Zeidler Theatres. We are opening our doors to the community, providing unique programming above and beyond a season of exceptional live theatre.”

Rapid Fire Theatre, Normand’s restaurant, The Edmonton Comedy Festival, The Edmonton International Jazz Festival, The Cappies of Greater Edmonton, TedX and Edmonton Festival of Ideas were also announced as returning or new partners at the Citadel next season.

On top of the 2012/2013 season, the Citadel Theatre will continue to provide artist development opportunities through Robbins Academy programming, including the Eldon and Anne Foote Theatre School, the Young Companies, the Citadel/Banff Centre Professional Theatre Program and Play Development.
