Edmonton based Catalyst Theatre will close its run at the Vancouver Playhouse on Saturday, and will be the storied theatre’s final production before shutting its doors.
The Vancouver Sun reports that the Vancouver Playhouse, one of the oldest large regional houses in Canada, can not afford to continue operations and must shut down. The theatre would have celebrated its 50th anniversary this year.
