SYNOPSIS:
This workshop is designed specifically for companies working out of the Pumphouse Theatre. For all aspiring Theatre Technicians, Directors, Producers, and other curious minds who would like to get a better handle of what goes into Lighting, Set and Sound Design and implementation. Focus will be on Lighting and Set Design, with rudiments in Sound Design.

INSTRUCTOR BIO:
David is a Calgary based Designer and Production Manager who works as an Event Supervisor at the Pumphouse Theatres during his “down time.” David’s design credits include Mousetrap and 12 Angry Men (Vertigo) Habitat, Man Out of Joint (Downstage) Henry VI part III (The Shakespeare Company), Twisted (Forte Musical Theatre) Albertine in Five Times, Phaedre (University of Calgary) Warriors (Les Guerriers Co-op) Closer (Parenthesis Company) and To Kill a Mockingbird (Workshop Theatre). His previous production management credits include Any Night, Summer of my Amazing Luck, Girl in the Goldfish Bowl (Sage Theatre) Hamlet, The Taking Flight Festival (University of Calgary) and Warriors (Les Guerriers Co-op).

COST: Full day $40 (registration online or by phone)
