SYNOPSIS:
Wanna Be a Stage Manager? Wanna Be a BETTER Stage Manager? Brian Kerby will lead participants through the role of the Stage Manager, the skills and the knowledge needed to be the most effective you can be. Special attention will be paid to organization, blocking notes, show calling and cue-to-cues.

INSTRUCTOR BIO:

Brian is currently at the University of Calgary, where he is responsible for instructing and supervising students in the areas of technical theatre, stage management and front of house. He has been a stage manager for companies such as, ATP, Western Canada Theatre Company and the University of Calgary.
As stage manager, he has done a wide variety of shows, from Musicals to Shakespeare to Dance.
Brian has designed lights for many professional productions, most notably Ronnie Burkett’s Theatre of Marionettes production of Tinka’s New Dress.
