The Canadian Institute for Theatre Technology (CITT) – Alberta is offering its members an opportunity to explore the Scenery, HD Video effects, Lighting and Rigging of the the Canadian Premier of Jake Heggie’s and Gene Scheer’s Moby Dick.
Groups and individuals attending with be divided into groups and rotate through various stations to give you insight into the technology and traditional scenic techniques used to create this masterpiece. The backstage tour will meet at the Stage Door of the Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium.
Attendance is limited to CITT members. Space is limited and all person’s interested in attending must register on-line.
It is strongly recommended that person attending the backstage tour attend a performance prior to the tour. Students and a limited number of CITT members can attend the dress rehearsal on January 26, 2012 commencing at 7:00 PM sharp.
Students can book tickets through the Calgary Opera’s box office.
