An Evening of New One-Act Plays by Local Playwrights

Walterdale produces two new works by local playwrights. Be a part of the première performances of these works. Characters required are listed under each play title.
Apocalypse, Saskatchewan by Dion Huel, Dramaturgy by Tracy Carroll

Is Lloyd Robertson the head of a zombie horde poised to end life as we know it in this country? Fear not, the coffee-row regulars in this small Saskatchewan town have uncovered the plot. The destruction has already begun and it is up to these three seniors to throw caution and common sense aside to stop the zombies before they turn this town into Apocalypse, Saskatchewan.
3 Male – should read 60+
2 Female – one approx. 40-50 and one mid-20s

Two sisters travel on a journey with an unknown end and entertain each other with made up stories of horrible women who die horrible deaths. They carry their dead with them in burlap sacks in the hopes of obtaining direction from the past.

The auditions will comprise of the following:

Rehearsals are variable depending on which show you are cast in. Please bring any major conflicts between mid-Feb. and late-May to the audition. We will endeavour to work around conflicts.
Headshots and résumés are recommended, but not required.
Copies of the scripts are NOT available as these are new works under development.
Walterdale is a volunteer/member organization. We cannot engage Equity performers.
